• This simple DIY handrail kit comes with everything you need for installation, including the aluminum rail, 2 wall mounts, 2 plastic end caps, and all necessary screws. Handrails 7' and longer will come with 3 wall mounts. Handrails that are 8 feet or longer are shipped as two sections and include an internal connector for assembly, with an optional collar ring. This ring can be used to conceal any imperfections if the handrail is cut to a shorter length, or to offer extra corrosion protection in exposed environments.
• Each Meranti aluminum handrail is cut and polished before being powder coated. While it might be easier to powder coat longer sections and trim them to size later, our process ensures a flawless finish—free from cut marks or blemishes—on every handrail we deliver.
• Take a closer look at our wall mounts and you'll see they're crafted from a single-piece die-cast zinc alloy. This one-piece construction eliminates the need for welding. No welding means no visible weld defects—sometimes found on stainless steel mounts—that are both visually unappealing and may compromise the structural integrity of the wall mount. The single-piece design also enhances the overall look, featuring smooth, curved edges that complement the modern look of the handrail.

• Compatible with almost any wall surface including wood, stucco, concrete, brick, and vinyl. Always check local building codes before installation. For installation of handrail to concrete or brick, some additional tools may be required (e.g. masonry drill bit and masonry anchor screws). The handrail can be cut to your desired length using a chop saw or hack saw. The diameter of the handrail is 1.375”.
